This course covers a wider range of mental health conditions and goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition.
The course is suitable for all persons who wish to be better placed to assist a friend, colleague or family member during their time of need. Within a workplace those who hold a supervisory/managerial level position should be ensuring they are able to recognise staff who may require further assistance. This course is also perfect for those who have responsibility for implementing a positive mental health culture and responsibility for First Aid for Mental Health within an organisation. Courses will be delivered by mental health care professionals, with knowledge and experience which will directly benefit learners allowing them to gain confidence in their new skills.
